I'm thinking of leaving Virginia Western Community College. My parents are becoming annoyed with the fact that I keep being switched into different classes that they know I'd never be able to do. I'm really not too sure I want to drop out of college because then I'd feel like I failed. Then again, there's always my job at Walmart, which my parents say they could see me excelling in.

I dunno what to do... :

Well, you're pretty far along, aren't you supposed to graduate this winter, or early next year? You might be able to take most of your college credits/unit hours and transfer to another school, either another community college or even a University. What about the Roanoke Higher Education Center? Explore your options, Aidan. You've come quite far in college and it would be a huge fuckin' shame for you to drop out.

As for classes you really can't do, bear in mind that even though you have disabilities, there is always bureaucracy involved in trying to fit you in. Even though the law states that you are to be accommodated in any class and/or major, there are no majors tailored specifically for the disabled. To try and fit someone into a standardized lesson plan, who doesn't fit the standard mold, is really, really difficult. They may be trying to test the waters, so-to-speak, to see what you DO fit into, that also accommodates what is mandated in order to have a specific degree or certificate. It's very, very complicated, and there's no way to bend the rules.

Your education is really important. Unless you've exhausted all your options - transferring schools, money, even changing majors - don't quit. Wal-Mart is a really great place to work but sadly in today's day and age, the salary you make even at a manager's level, isn't going to sustain you once you become independent. You really need a marketable skill in order to make it in this world, sadly... and what you're pursuing as a skill is much more marketable than mine, so you had better keep going :D

Hmm, now that you mention it, Elizabeth, Mom and Dad did say they would try to look into a business college somewhere. Maybe that'll be what I need. Thank you very much! :)
